Community Involvement
A Caring Community Partner
Baird has a long tradition of giving back in the communities where our associates live and work, and many give generously of their time, talents and personal resources to local organizations. Our associates also support annual firm level campaigns to raise funds for local and national charities. And our Baird Foundation provides financial support for causes ranging from fighting homelessness and hunger to promoting education and the arts.
Other ways Baird supports associates’ passion for giving back include Baird Gives Back Week; an event encouraging associates to team up in their communities and volunteer in a range of activities, including tutoring students, working with seniors, building homes and cleaning up parks.
Second Annual Shred Day Event 2026
Our Peoria branch hosted our second annual Shred Day event! Clients and the Peoria Heights Community were able to dispose of their personal documents via a Baird provided shredding vehicle. Clients, their families and the community were also able to join us for coffee and donuts while shredding those sensitive and personal documents.
School Supplies Packing For Heart of Illinois United Way
Our office partnered with United Way to provide school supplies activities and kits for students who needed supplies and extra activities for the summer. Learn more about Heart of Illinois United Way.
First Annual Saturday Shred Day 2025
Our Peoria branch hosted our first annual Shred Day event! Baird Gives Back 2023 at the Picket Fence Foundation
Our associates volunteered to prepare plants and flowers for purchase to support the Nonprofit Picket Fence Foundation which provides training and employment opportunities to adults with disabilities. Learn more about the Picket Fence Foundation.
