Community Involvement
A Caring Community Partner
Baird has a long tradition of giving back in the communities where our associates live and work, and many give generously of their time, talents and personal resources to local organizations. Our associates also support annual firm level campaigns to raise funds for local and national charities. And our Baird Foundation provides financial support for causes ranging from fighting homelessness and hunger to promoting education and the arts.
Other ways Baird supports associates’ passion for giving back include Baird Gives Back Week; an event encouraging associates to team up in their communities and volunteer in a range of activities, including tutoring students, working with seniors, building homes and cleaning up parks.
Forest Park Clean-Up 2026
Our Peoria branch volunteered at Forest Park Nature Center to help clean and preserve one of our community's most treasured natural spaces. Team members spent the day collecting litter along roadsides, trails, and wooded areas, working together to make a positive impact on the environment while strengthening connections with one another and the community we serve.
The day took an unexpected turn when volunteers discovered four abandoned kittens near the roadway during the clean-up effort. The team quickly stepped in to ensure the kittens were safe, coordinating with local animal shelters to help provide the care and support they needed. Baird Gives Back Day was a meaningful reminder that even small acts of service can make a lasting difference.
